About
MY BACKGROUND
Born and raised in Alberta, I have always had a strong connection to the communities I serve, namely Edmonton and Calgary. I started my career in Education, teaching kindergarten, grade 4, 6, and 7. I continued my education with a Masters Degree in Information Studies. I moved back to Alberta during the pandemic where I obtained a variety of experiences in public libraries and archives. I worked as a circulation clerk, community librarian, library administrator, and archivist.

My professional interests include research, reference services, information management, and user friendly design to name a few. As a lifelong learner I am always adding new tools to my toolbox, and looking for new oppourtunities to take me out of my comfort zone.
