One of my favourite places is the sculpture garden at the MoMA in New York City. I really wanted to teach my students about sculpture and public art since the weather was so summery and bright. Our class had a bunch of recycling leftover over from our 3D shape unit. While the seedlings from the local seed library were growing in nicely. Together we built some Donald Judd’s, a Frank Stella inspired sculpture, and put some groovy Andy Warhol soup cans on our beautiful seedlings.
